An Overview of the NCI’s Community Oncology Research Program

The NCI is aligning the 2 existing community oncology programs, the Community Clinical Oncology Program (CCOPs), Minority-Based CCOPs and their Research Bases and the NCI Community Cancer Centers Program.  The NCI Community Oncology Research Program will expand the research scope in the community setting to include clinical trials, cancer disparities research, and cancer care delivery research.  The goal of the webinar is to share these plans with the Cancer Centers as stakeholders and to obtain their input as we develop the concept for this program.
